Sending separate emails for the meet recap and the week ahead because there is a lot to cover!

Both the Boys and Girls swam lights out last night to claim victories on both sides! That was a special win that I hope everyone will remember for a long time. When everyone is locked in and committed to swimming and cheering for each other we can accomplish great things.

We now sit 3 points up on Poolesville and 2 points up on Sherwood heading into Divisionals in 2 weeks. Divisionals team scoring is 7-5-4-3-2-1 for 1st through 6th on both the boys and girls side.

A special shoutout to Alex Akli for winning boys dive! Alex prefers not to dive, but said he would if we needed him in a big meet. The boys won the meet by 13 points, and without Alex we would have only won by 5 points. Every point counts and Alex stepped up and made a big impact.

• 4 Free Relay (Rachel, Alisia, Anna, Elizabeth)

We have too many impactful 2nd/3rd/4th place finishes to call them all out, but know that everyone’s contributions yesterday were needed to get the win.
