We started our region meet festivities Friday Afternoon/Evening with Region Dive at Walkersville HS. Isabel wrapped up a stellar Wootton career by placing 7th! Congrats Isabel!

We had a strong showing this weekend at our Region meet at MLK. The week after Metros is always a tough week to bounce back and swim fast, but I was really impressed with our effort and focus brought by all of our swimmers. Thanks to all of our team members who were not competing who came out to support. Your commitment and team spirit does not go unnoticed.

The girls had a great day and came away with a surprise 2nd place finish. The boys fought hard and came up 2 points short of the region crown, finishing 2nd behind RM.

  • This was my favorite and gutsiest race of the day. Going head to head with an RM swimmer, we knew we needed to win this race and Pietro had his best swim of the year to touch first and score a huge 20 points for the team!

3rd Place: Dylan P (2 Free), Rachel (2 Free)

A long list of Patriots logged key top 5 finishes: Elizabeth, Johnny, Girls Medley + 2 Free relay, Isabelle W, Dennis x 2, Justin and Boys 4 Free Relay.

We successfully qualified a large number of individual for states, along with all 6 of our relays. I will send out our draft relay lineups shortly.
